Frito-Lay, The Best Gift
Based on a true story, this heartwarming story follows a father whose son Javier brings his friend Manuel to stay with them over a college vacation break.
As the two young men spend time together, but Javier's father notices there's more between the two than friendship. At a diner together with his father, Javier his accidentally asks Manuel, "What do you want, honey?"
Javier's dad turns to help online. "Hello, I'm a 52-year-old divorced father and need some help. I think my son and his friend are a couple and he won't tell me. How can I let them know that everything is OK?"
The dad finally approaches his son in the kitchen and awkwardly gets out that he wants to say "I love you." Javier tearfully replies, "What you want to tell me is that you love me as I am?" They hug.
Closing text reads, "The best gift for these holidays is accepting everyone the way they are." There's a #PrideAllYear campaign hashtag.
