Renault S.A., Big Day

Members:

A young woman and middle-aged man drive in a baby blue Twingo Sport – the woman wearing white and holding white flowers, and the man with a white flower in his lapel. They arrive at a church, to the applause of friends and family gathered outside. They make their way into the church arm-in-arm, walking down the aisle to heartfelt glances from the pews, and a little girl smiles and sniffs a flower as they proceed. The couple arrives at the end of the aisle where a younger man is waiting – presumably he is the groom, and she is the bride. As she turns to kiss her companion on the cheek, she says, “Congratulations dad” and we learn it is her father who is getting married. She steps back, and looks on with tears in her eyes as the grooms link hands. Finally, the newlyweds, walk hand-in-hand out of the church, accompanied by raucous cheers and a shower of flower petals. A narrator says “Times have changed. The Twingo too.” Renault is known throughout Europe for its progressive automobile ads.
