"Gaetano Proclo needs a place to hide out, so he checks in for a night at The Ritz," begins this trailer. What Proclo doesn't realize is that he's checking in for a night at the gay baths.

This slapstick comedy features trans characters and cases of mistaken identity. Directed by Richard Lester, it stars Jack Weston, Rita Moreno, and Jerry Stiller. It is an adaptation of a Broadway play by Terrence McNally, who went on to write the hit musical "The Full Monty."

The trailer is from the "Homo Promo" 1991 video collection of gay film trailers from 1953 through 1977 by Jenni Olsen.

I really don't get how this could be rated EQUAL. Most of the gay people in there are femish sissies. That's more negative than anything to me.
