Cadbury Schweppes, Dog Walkers

Members:

A good-looking young man is walking down a sidewalk sipping a Dr. Pepper. He catches the eyes of many women who stare and smile.

At one point, he walks past a hotel/apartment building, and the doorman does a double-take upon seeing him. The doorman's head looks downward, suggesting that he's taking a look at the man's butt. At this point it's revealed, however, that he's attracting attention not for his looks, but because he's a dog walker, and he's walking several dogs on leashes.

He eventually runs into a female dog walker, also with several dogs in tow and sipping a Dr. Pepper, and they get tangled up together.

I think Joel Fumero is the most amazing looking guy. This Dr. Pepper commercial is my favorite of all time.

I do remember seeing this ad. When I saw it I never noticed anything that struck me as "gay-themed". To me it was just a cute ad about a beautiful man walking adorable dogs.

Andrew
I still think they're looking at the guy, who is much cuter than the dogs. Either way this ad is neither "positive" nor "negative."

Oh come on, Lepm. This one's worth it just for the scenery!

Ha ha ha, first we think the doorman is almost gay and starting at another guy, but it turns out he is just looking at the dogs. Boy, wouldn't it have been embarassing if he was actually gay? How is this a gay ad? Doesn't this ad just fulfill the whole concept of other ads, which make the consumer think someone is gay, but in the end it is a big joke? How about putting something on here that actually portrays gays in a positive light or any light, rather than struggling to find some semblance of a hint that someone may be gay, but in fact, it was just a big joke. (How about the miller light ad?)

That's male model Joel Fumero!
