Mars Inc., The Sour Man

Members:

Two cooks are in a restaurant kitchen. One of the men who is sitting on the prep table is eating sour Skittles. The other cook goes up to him and asks for some, to which his friend replies:

"Sorry, it's really not up to me."

"Well, who's it up to?"

The man on the prep table points to a tiny Asian man, sitting on a chair and says, "The Sour Man."

The sour man then stands up and examines the tall cook. He makes a sudden martial arts move to see if he can scare the cook but the cook does not flinch. The Sour Man seems pleased and continues to examine the cook. He slaps the cook a few times in the face and then walks around to smack him on his rear. The cook gives a bewildered look but he has done it. He has passed the test.

The man on the prep table and the Sour Man exchange nods of approval. It is then that the triumphant cook is allowed some Sour Skittles.

Part of Skittles' campaign, this ad combines many weird acts including physical contact between the cook and the Sour Man. However, the physical act is not singled out as something particularly strange in this commercial.
