Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, I Wish

Members:

This ad is one of several submissions into the GLAAD "I DO" competition. “I DO” is a national competition to create the best 30-second television commercial in support of marriage equality for same-sex couples.

This particular ad begins with a bride throwing her bouquet up in the air, the camera then follows the flowers to all the different people who catch the bouquet.

The flowers first land in the hand of a very muscular African-American man, he then hands it off to a woman with a shaved head and eyebrow ring. She shrugs and in turn hands it to a little girl who is being held by her two gay fathers. The little girl then happily throws it on the ground, where a older man, picks it up and joyfully throws it up in the air. The bouquet then lands back into the bride's hand, she is now holding her partner's hand in front of a church

The words "Take a vow for equality" appear on the screen. The screen then goes black with the tagline "Support Marriage Rights for Same-Sex Couples."
