WHERE SUCCESSFUL ADVERTISING MEETS LGBT EQUALITY

Time Warner, Portraits

Members:

In a series of vignettes, various types of people are portrayed with how the media giant Time Warner affects their lives.

A macho Army soldier, with a frown and crossed arms, appears with the words "Cried during Free Willy" the movie.

Twin boys in superhero outfits appear with "Can't decide who they want to be" -- followed by Superman, Batman and then Wonder Woman appearing on the side. One twin quickly looks at the other in disbelief that he might want to be Wonder Woman. It is not a supportive possibility.

Another example of how rightwing-owned AOL/Time Warner manipulates our images and enforces homophobia and gender stereotypes while covertly investing in sites like gay.com and Planetout. They don't have a problem taking money from AOL, though. Hypocrites.
