If it’s targeting a limited market it’s great. If it’s mainstream, it’s pretty limited and borderline offensively stereotypical like Pamela Anderson or Jessica Rabbit. One and the same. Yes, yes, if you’re one of the ‘fabulous’ it’s great, but gay life is soooooooo much more than being beautiful eh? There’s definitely an audience and it’s definitely right on, it’s just not as celebratory and inclusive in feeling.

Joe Phillips is an amazing artist and I am always amazed when I see his work. The spot colored items in this ad are the colors of the gay pride flag.
