The text starts off by saying, "If you're heading to Sydney -- for the 2002 Gay Games or even Mardis Gras -- stay at any Radisson Hotel and you'll be ideally placed to revel in all the hip shaking activities that Sydney has to offer..."

The hotel category is almost completely absent for gay media elsewhere in the world. This ad is similar in approach to another in Australia for Holiday Inn, featuring two pairs of men's shoes. Hyatt Hotels has initiated advertising in gay U.S. magazines but has not yet created any gay-specific materials.
