The ads pose questions on a variety of social topics, including same-sex marriage, and appeared in print media (Vanity Fair, The New york Times Magazine, The Atlantic Monthly), as well as on coasters and cocktail napkins.

“We’re not taking a position on any of the issues in the campaign,” Luttman told the Wall Street Journal. “What we’re saying is that these are conversations that matter and we should have more of them.”

“We’re not trying to throw a cheap shot out there to get attention on something that’s controversial,” he said. “This is something we want people to talk about.”
