A hospital technician examines a pregnant woman with an ultrasound machine in a routine exam. The woman holds her partner's hand while as the technician turns to the couple and asks whether they want to know what they're having. They agree.
"You're having a lesbian," the technician says with a smile. The parents-to-be are thrilled.
The commercial is accompanied by a billboard as well.
Shelley Argent, spokeswoman from Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, commissioned the campaign. She told news.com.au that the ads were were designed to show Australian families that children are born gay.
