Hamlet Cigars, Frankenstein

Members:

In horror movie fashion, complete with thunder in the background, a Frankenstein's monster lifts up from his table. He looks under the sheet covering his lower body and takes a big gulp as sad music begins playing.

He then grabs a cigar -- presumably to relax after his revelation -- and then crosses his legs like a woman. It is then revealed he's wearing stockings and high heels...implying the bottom half of the "monster" is a woman's body.

The announcer then says, "Happiness is a cigar called Hamlet. The mild cigar."

I don't see it that way. I think the focus is on the fact that the cigars are mild, which makes them appropriate for the woman part of him.

This is mildly amusing, and that's all. I think that the objections show hypersensitivity.

Because transsexuals are often portrayed as human monsters and as surgicalized freaks, this is a little bit on the edge for me, but not so bad I’d call it outright offensive.
