This series of TV ad created for the Essential hair products features Toru Yamazaki, the author of the horror comics - Octopus Girl, well-known for his feminine act, and Leah Dizon, the American model who has become very popular in Japan over the last couple years .

In this commercial, Yamazaki is portrayed as one of the "girls" despite his gender, which is supposedly male, as he holds hands with the girls and runs up stairs together.

While one argues that Yamazaki is definitely a homosexual man, the other thinks his sexuality can be categorized as metrosexual. The modern Japanese pop culture has the tendency of men to be interested in cosmetics and fashion, and Yamazaki can fit into those who influence on and are influenced by this new movement.
