Swallow for State Representative, Always for Utah

Members:

"John Swallow. A proven record, always fighting for the people of Utah, never giving up." Republican nominee for Utah's Second District, John Swallow appears in a suit and tie. The screen reads, "2002: Closest challenger race for Congress."

"John Swallow supports President Bush," says the narrator, "while Jim Matheson supports John Kerry." A photo of Swallow's opponent, Democrat Jim Matheson, appears against a black background, along with a photo of Kerry.

"In the legislature, John Swallow led the effort against taxes," says the narrator as Swallow stands before an American flag.

Swallow poses with his (large) family as the narrator says, "Real commitment to our families and our values." The screen reads, "Supports the ban on gay marriage."

"John Swallow. Always focused on improving education and giving local parents and teachers control of our schools." A young girl skips through a field of American flags toward the camera.

"Always for Utah. John Swallow for Congress," concludes the ad.

Swallow served in the House since 1996, but won only 43% of the vote in the 2004 election. Matheson won the race with 55% of votes.
