WHERE SUCCESSFUL ADVERTISING MEETS LGBT EQUALITY

Open To All, We Don't Serve Your Kind Here

Members:

This ad illustrates how a loss in the Masterpiece Cakeshop case before the U.S. Supreme Court would open the door to sweeping discrimination against LGBT people, people of color and more.

(The Supreme Court ruled 7-2 that the Colorado Civil Rights Commission had violated Phillips' rights under the Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.)

Developed by the Movement Advancement Project, the ad was produced in partnership with the ACLU, the Anti-Defamation League, Asian Americans Advancing Justice | AAJC, Bend the Arc, the Center for Black Equity, CenterLink, Color of Change, the Equality Federation, Faith in Public Life, Family Equality Council, Freedom for All Americans, GLAAD, GLAD, the Human Rights Campaign, Lambda Legal, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF), the National Black Justice Coalition, the National Center for Lesbian Rights, the National Center for Transgender Equality, the National LGBTQ Task Force, PFLAG, SAGE, and the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund.
