United Artists, Norman...Is That You?

Redd Foxx and Pearl Bailey star in George Schlatter's comedy, "Norman... Is That You?"
Foxx and Bailey play a married couple, but Mrs. Chambers hasn't been faithful. When Mr. Chambers learns of her affair, he tracks down his son only to find out that his son's roommate is his gay lover.
Mr. Chambers is horrified. He can't believe that his son would have "purple drapes" and "flowered underwear." The film relies stereotypes like these for humor. The boyfriend repeats "Faaaaabulous" throughout the trailer. Mr. Chambers chases him around the apartment, threatening to kill him.
Mrs. Chambers tells her husband, "There's a sexual revolution going on." Mr. Chambers retorts, "And all the leaders are in my family!"
