Tracy for State Senate, Our Values

This ad, for Jim Tracy, the Republican Senate nominee for District 16 in Tennessee, attacks Democratic opponent Larry Trail.

"Larry Trail. A dirty campaign," says a narrator, as Trail's picture is stamped with the word "false."

"Five complete lies in one commercial alone." In response to one of Trail's ads, the narrator says: "In fact, the press says Jim Tracy's money isn't from a pharmaceutical company at all."

The narrator continues: "The truth: Larry Trail is hiding from his record. Trail voted for the largest tax increase in Tennessee history. Larry Trail waffled on gay marriage. Trail backed a plan to let illegal immigrants get driver's licenses. And Larry Trail even voted to allow taxpayer funding of abortion. Larry Trail. He's not representing our values." (Trail's ad denies these claims and firmly states that he voted against gay marriage.)

Tracy won the race against Trail with 52% of votes. With Republican nominee Diane Black also winning a seat, Republicans hold the majority of seats in the Tennessee Senate.
