Since 2001, Skyy vodka has gotten much more daring in its gay-targeted print advertising, beginning with an effort that took on the hot topic of same-sex marriage.
The ads in 2002 have become more sexy, featuring three men suggestively laying together while touching on the deck of a boat and this one with bikini-clad women.
The company is among few that have chosen to represent both gay men and women in its ads.

I think the marketing group for this product know that sex and beauty sell.

Is this really lesbian advertising? To me, it looks like they're trying to hook straight guys with images of hot lesbians and alcohol.

The message this ad is sending is "you have to be 'beautiful' to drink our vodka." Not a very original message. I happen to like the Skyy Blue in spite of it's advertising, not because of it. How sad that is.
