A series of married same-sex couples of different races and ages sit down to speak, documentary style, to the camera about their relationships.
“This is something I never thought would happen in my life,” one woman in the video says of being able to finally marry her wife.
“I have, with Ed, two sons and three grandkids. I thank him for that part of my life, which I never thought I would have,” a teary-eyed man says about his life with his husband.
“There are no air quotes around our marriage. We are married,” says one young couple. Another says, “Deep down, I get to do this thing,” she says of marriage, “I’m going to make it into something beautiful.” Then adds, “I should have had the right to do that all along.” The film ends with “It’s love, and isn’t that what you want to support?”
