WHERE SUCCESSFUL ADVERTISING MEETS LGBT EQUALITY

Unilever, Jealousy

Members:

A hurried woman can't find her perfume/deodorant so she puts on her spouse's scented body spray and runs out of the apartment.

As she goes to her destination, other women everywhere makes passes at her and wink -- her eyes bug out every time.

She finally realizes it is the fragrance and goes back home to yell at him. He smiles sheepishly. While a heterosexual would be expected to be surprised at a sudden series of come-ons by those of the same sex, the ad shows her as being anything but flattered. This is the source of some of the humor, though more of it sits with her jealousy (hence the ad's title) at what he has been bringing onto himself in her absence.

*giggles* If I were that woman, I would have milked for all it was worth. I thought that ad was cute. :)

this is a great ad! What's to get up tight about? It played so well that unless you were looking for something, I doubt anything would be seen.

There is nothing wrong with this ad. It's cute, not offensive.
