Achmea, Adam and Eve

Members:

The ad from Dutch insurance conglomerate begins with an idyllic scene depicting Eve in the Garden of Eden. Clad in solely a fig leaf she strolls among the splendor, Giraffes grazing in background; volcanos beyond. Eve continues to explore the garden, until arriving at a tree with a bright red apple hanging below a slithering snake. She moves on from the tree into a jungle area thick with vegetation, to the sound of songbirds and insects chirping. Brightly colored Parrots groom one another in the brush, as Eve caresses a majestic white horse wallowing in a stream. Eve continues on into the jungle, stumbling upon a grand waterfall and cool blue watering hole. She gazes in awe until Adam shows up, seemingly out of nowhere. He appears as an attractive, muscular, archetypical image of a man. They move towards one another, accompanied by a climactic crescendo, the air heavy with the anticipation of their destiny. Adam breaks the tension by flamboyantly waving towards her, hopping in excitement and in a high pitched tone says, “Hi!” He introduces himself with characteristic limp wrists, to which Eve seems confused and less than amused. She glares at Adam suspiciously, as he sits on a rock by the water nearby, picks up a flower with his toes, and squeals at the blossom in his extended leg. She continues to look on, as Adam, legs-crossed, plucks flowers from the brush below. The company slogan “Just call us” appears on screen, implying where to turn when things go unplanned.
