Daffy's, Jackie Swears She Saw the Former NJ Governor in the Daffy's Leather Dept.

This subway poster intended to be cheeky as it refers transparently to (without naming) former New Jersey Governor Jim McGreevey, who stepped down from office in Nov. 2004 after he announced he was gay and leaving his wife. It uses a gay stereotype of gay men being interested in leather clothing for its humor.

The company, which had clothing stores primarily in New York and New Jersey, went out of business in 2012.
