RuPaul finally made it to the Super Bowl, but not on the field. He stars in an ad for online business meetings site WebEx, one of the many dot-coms (along with HotJobs.com, E*TRADE and others) that were able to pony up between $2 million and $3 million in air time to be on the sporting event.
However, the creative was not that well received. Says Advertising Age
ad critic Bob Garfield: "Meetings are a drag, says drag queen RuPaul. Get it? Stupid gag that doesn't explain why WebEx.com is the antidote."
