A lone choir boy's voice can be heard as the word "Hate" is written across the screen. Suddenly, disturbing music drowns out the boy's voice as pictures of Hitler, the Nazi Army, the Klu Klux Klan, and a black man being strangled by a white man flash on the screen in rapid succession.
The picture pauses on the scene of a plain and fades into a close up of a wooden fence. Shortly after, the disturbing music returns and pictures related to the Matthew Shepard killing flash across the screen.
Once more the disturbing music stops and we are shown a wooden fence similar to the one Shepard was tied to. The disturbing music starts up again, and the pictures of Shepard's killers flash on screen.
A rock with the word "Love" written on it followed by a flyer with Shepard's birth and death dates on it is shown as the disturbing music stops for the last time.
The words "Take a Stand Against Violence. FightForYourRights.MTV.Com" appear on screen.
